   Thursday 28th September

 Arrival day

Our host families and a group of teachers will be waiting for you at Empoli train station at your arrival time and we will give you the Euroweek bags.

Products for the International buffet that need the fridge will be collected by us at your arrival at the station.

Students in apts have dinner at school with Italian teachers (h. 19:00/19:30)

 Friday 29th September

 Meeting h. 9:00 Teatro “Il Momento” (Via del Giglio, 59 Empoli)

Some host families will bring your students at 8:00 am  at school, so teachers have to be at school by this time.

The following delegations will perform and need to be at the theatre at 8.30 am  (first part):

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, Germany and Hungary.

Free lunch ( packet lunch prepared by host families)

🡪 h. 13.00 – 14.15: BRIEFING FOR TEACHERS in Teachers’ room at school

Meeting h. 14.15 at  school garden

(some students of Activity 1 will be picked up directly at the theatre by a teacher.)

Students and teachers who will take part in Activity 1, will be divided in two groups, and will depart from school with their teachers to join the Medieval games at Serravalle Park. This activity also includes the visit at the Medici Villa in Cerreto Guidi.

Meeting with host families h. 18.15 at PalAramini.

Students and teachers who will take part in Activity 2, will be divided in six groups, and will depart from school with their teachers to join three visits: our school, the city centre and the local museums, Museo del Vetro and Museo della Collegiata di Sant’Andrea.

Meeting with host families h. 18.00 in Piazza Matteotti (just behind our school main entrance).

Teachers whose students stay in hotels or apartments are kindly asked to take them home after the end of the activities.

 Saturday 30th September

Teachers: at 9:00 at school to get prepared with their delegation for the flag parade. Please remember your students to wear their official Euroweek t-shirt (inside the Euroweek bag).

Students: at 9:15 at school.

Italy will open the flag parade; the other delegations follow in alphabetic order:

Meeting with host families h. 12:30 at Teatro “Il Momento”.

Free afternoon and dinner with families

Students in apts have activities and dinner with Italian teachers (19:00/19:30)

Teachers’ special dinner: h. 21:00 at Ristorante Cucina Sant’Andrea (Via Vincenzo Salvagnoli, 47) The restaurant is walking distance from all your hotels

Monday 2nd October

 Teachers and students who go to FLORENCE:

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Slovenia and Spain.

Some host families will bring your students at 8:00 at school, so teachers have to be at school by this time and you will walk with them to Empoli train station.

Meeting h. 8.30 at Empoli station

(The train leaves at 9:21 and arrives in Florence at 9:52)

h. 10:30 – 13:30: walking tour around the main attractions of Florence city centre

h. 13:30 – 15:20: free time for lunch

Meeting h. 15:20 in Piazza della Repubblica

(The train leaves at 15:53 and arrives in Empoli at 16:26)

Host families pick up their students at 16:26 at Empoli station.

Teachers whose students stay in hotels or apartments are kindly asked to take them home after the end of the activities.

Teachers and students who go to the TECHNOLOGIC HUB and PISA:

Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Romania, Portugal, Slovakia and UK.

Some host families will bring your students at 8:00 at school, so teachers have to be at school by this time and you will walk with them to Piazza Matteotti.

Meeting h. 8.30 in Piazza Matteotti (just behind the main school entrance).

Students and teachers will travel by a private bus.

Visit of the Technologic Hub

Meeting h. 13:30 at Empoli train station

Students and teachers will walk to Empoli station to take the train for Pisa.

(The train leaves at 14:01 and arrives in Pisa at 14:45)

Visit of Pisa centre

(The train to come back leaves at 18.31 and arrives in Empoli at 19.03)

Italian night for students and teachers

Meeting h. 19.00 for all students and teachers in apts (those who spent the day in Florence) at EMPOLI TRAIN STATION for transfer to

Pizzeria Scuderie dell’Antinoro and back.

Students and teachers arriving from Pisa will be picked up at EMPOLI TRAIN STATION for transfer to Pizzeria Scuderie dell’ Antinoro and back.

 Host families pick up students from 22:30 to 23:00 at Pizzeria Scuderie dell’Antinoro.

Tuesday 3rd October

All the teachers and students who stay in apts will be driven to Ottobit and back by Italian teachers.

 Host families pick up students at Ottobit from 23:30 to 24:00

Wednesday 4th October

Departure day

Teachers will arrange time  meeting  at the train station with their students.
