Wednesday 21st Sept – Denmark

Arrival day, Kalundborg

(The nearest airport is Copenhagen/CPH. From the airport you can take a train to Kalundborg via Copenhagen Central Station)

Thursday 22nd Sept – Denmark

Students’ programme:
8.05: Students meet at Kalundborg Gymnasium
8.30-10.15: Opening ceremony (assembly room)
10.30-12.00: Tour of Kalundborg
12.00-12.45: Lunch
12.45-13.45: Flag parade and group photo
13.45-14.15: Snack break
14.15-15.45: Sports activities (Kalundborghallen). Traditional dance – you don’t need sports clothes
15.45-17.30: Free time and preparation for the International buffet
17.30-19.00: International buffet (lunch hall)

Teachers’ programme:
7.30: Breakfast and short teachers’ meeting at Kalundborg Gymnasium (teachers’ room)
8.30-10.15: Opening ceremony (assembly room)
10.30-12.00: Tour of Kalundborg
12.00-12.45: Lunch (teachers’ room)
12.45-13.45: Flag parade and group photo

14.15-15.45: Sports activities (dance) for students (Kalundborghallen) – teachers can watch or have free time

Friday 23rd Sept – Denmark

8.05-11.30: Sustainability workshop with “Green Club” (assembly room)
11.30-12.00: Lunch
12.00-13.00 Presentation/discussion in Danish classes 
13.00-13.15: Preparations for performances
13.15-15.30: Performances in assembly room: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, and Denmark
Evening and dinner with host families

7.30: Breakfast in teachers’ room
8.00-10.00: Teachers’ meeting (room B08 – after the meeting we can go to the assembly room and hear the students’ results from the workshop)
11.30-12.00: Lunch 
12.00-13.00 Free time for teachers
13.00-13.15: Preparations for performances
13.15-15.30: Performances in assembly room.
16.00: Trip to Røsnæs
19.30: Dinner at school 

Saturday 24th Sept – Denmark

Trip to Copenhagen
8.00-10.00: Bus to Copenhagen
10.30-11.30: Boat trip in Copenhagen (departure from Kayak Bar)
11.30-13.15: Lunch and free time
13.15: Gathering at Christiansborg Slotsplads
13.30-15.30: Guided tours (all tours end at Rådhuspladsen)
16.00: Gathering at Rådhuspladsen, bus to Kalmar

20.30: Welcome to Kalmar and Calmare Internationella Skola

6.30-7.30: Breakfast at Danhostel Kalundborg – also for the teachers staying at Ole Lunds Gård
8.00: Bus to Copenhagen – see students’ programme

Sunday 25th Sept – Sweden

Students’ programme

Morning will be spent with host families.

13.00: Gathering at CIS.
13.30: Flag parade will launch from CIS to Larmtorget.
14.00: Official inaguration ceremony will take place at Larmtorget.
14.30: The parade will continue to Stortorget.
15.00: Flash Mob at Stortorget.
16.00: Walk to Kalmar Castle & Foto Challenge.

Monday 26th Sept – Sweden

Students’ programme

08.30: Gathering at CIS. We will walk together to Kalmarsundsparken.
09.15: Activities in Kalmarsundsparken begins.
15.00: Activities in Kalarsungsparken ends.

Bring tough clothes and good shoes for the activies in Kalmarsundsparken. Lunch will be served outside this day.

The evening can either be spent with host families or at CIS. The school will be open to 23.00 and host some activities for the students. Guests will also recieve 20% of tickets on behalf of the local cinema for this evening only.

13.00: Worshops on social entrepreneurship begins in cross groups.
15.00: Worshop disclosures.
18.00: Kalmarsalen opens its doors for visitors.

18.30-20.00: Euroweek cultural event with music and presentations from host countries.

CIS International hereby invites you to join us in Kalmarsalen for “The Final Show” on Tuesday, Septemper 27 at 18.30-20.00. During the evening, the great diversity of Europe will be performed in terms of singing, dancing and sketches. 

Admission is free of charge. Reservation in advance is required (not for Euroweeks guests). RSVP before Tuesday, 27th of September.
